VT Barefoot Blast

Location:  Wrightsville Reservoir, Montpelier, VT. Directions above.

Waterbury Reservoir (no tournament planned here this year, water level is back up, ignore info below until updated)

Location:  Waterbury Reservoir, Waterbury, VT

Temporary Directions (while the Reservoir is low): From the South, Interstate I-89 to exit 10, at end of ramp take right onto Rt. 100 North, immediate left at light onto Blush Hill Road, follow almost 3 miles to end. Carefully continue down the hill on the reservoir floor to the parking near the site.

Directions to launch tournament boats (while the Reservoir is low): From the South, Interstate I-89 to exit 10, at end of ramp take left onto Rt. 100 South, cross highway, at stop sign take right onto Rt. 2 West. Follow just over a mile, turn right onto Little River Road. Follow about 2.5 miles. Continue up steep hill, and when parallel to top of dam, bear right down the hill to boat ramp. At launching area, back in close to steep edge about 6 to 8 feet away. Turn wheel to left when vehicle's rear tires enter water, angling boat "over the cliff." Be careful and go slowly so that trailer tires stay level. Your exhaust will be under water. When pulling boat out of water, don't go too far or it will be hard to pull the boat up the edge. Park vehicle to the right. Drive boat to the far end and cautiously enter the narrows that lead to the course. The water is safe away from shore, but there may be small boats present.
